  • I Wood has been sawn here since 1615

    History
    Breakfast is served in the sagisteg, with its spacious, partly covered outdoor area, from 08:00. The venue is suitable for weddings, private and public events, but also for conferences/seminars - also in combination with the seegüetli.

    - Outdoor space for up to 50 people
    - In combination with seegüetli for up to 200 people, aperitifs for up to 350 people

  • I The building was constructed as a cotton warehouse for the spinning mill in the 1950s

    seegüetli

    History
    The seegüetli was added to the site in 2019. It is directly adjacent to the sagisteg and is suitable for creative seminars and events of all kinds. The seegüetli enchants with a wonderful view of the river and the Churfirsten mountains.

    - In combination with sagisteg up to 200 people, aperitif up to 350 people

    wood storage

    History
    The wood store is our newest room, which is mainly used for private and public events of all kinds in summer (as it is unheated). It impresses with its view of the lake and the ceiling height of over 7 meters.

    Platform by the lake

    The platform on the lake is located directly on the lake and invites you to unforgettable private or corporate events directly on the Swiss fjord. Water sports equipment such as SUPs and canoes/kayaks can also be hired here for your event. Access to the lake is available. A dip in the cool water is of course also permitted for our guests.

    seegüetli meadow

    The seegüetli meadow is particularly suitable for wedding ceremonies. However, it is also used by hotel guests as a lakeside bathing area and for smaller events such as tavolatas.

  • I The section directly on the lakeshore was left to its own devices for a long time
  • I When a large tree on the meadow had to be felled in 2019, this freed up the necessary space for use as a sunbathing lawn and wedding ceremony location

    rail terrace

    The rail terrace with its wonderful view of the lake and the Churfirsten peaks is equipped with tables that can be moved along the existing rails. It creates additional capacity on balmy summer evenings and is also suitable for smaller events such as weddings, drinks receptions or dining at a large table.

  • I In the past, the ramp was used for the delivery of cotton bales by cargowagon
  • I Since 2017, it has served as an additional terrace with seating for large crowds in the sagibeiz or for smaller private events

    chääsgondeli

    A disused mountain railway gondola, which was originally used in the Wirzweli area (Nidwalden), has found a new purpose on the shin terrace on Lake Walen: In winter, the cozy séparée can be used exclusively, e.g. for private fondue or raclette evenings.

  • The gondeli was on the road for years for the aerial cableway to Wirzweli, Canton Nidwalden
  • In 2016, it found its way to the Flumserberge. Acceptance was low because it was not "einheimisch"
  • Since 2017, after being converted by the company's own employees, it has been in use on the rail terrace in Murg in winter
